The Decision

I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 of Appendix V: Immigration Rules for Visitors because:

In considering your application, I have to consider whether you intend to leave the United Kingdom at the end of your visit. As part of this, I have to consider the information provided by you about your personal and economic circumstances.

You state that you intend to visit your best friend and boyfriend for around 5 months. You also stated that your UK sponsor would pay for your expenses. In support of this, you have submitted supporting documents on behalf of your UK sponsor. However, in considering your application, I have to consider whether you intend to leave the United Kingdom at the end of your visit. As part of this, I have to consider the information provided by you about your personal and economic circumstances.

You state that you work for ***** from which you have a monthly income of *****. In support of this, you have submitted employment letter. However, the documents submitted do not demonstrate that you are in receipt of the stated salaried income. This causes me to doubt that your personal and financial circumstances are as stated.

You state that you are planning to spend 3600GBP. In support of this, you have submitted a bank letter and bank statements in your name from *****. However, the submitted documents do not demonstrate the source of submitted funds. Without confirmation to show the source, I am not satisfied that, these bank documents are a true reflection of your current financial circumstances in your country and the funds are available for your exclusive use. This raises concerns regarding your situation in your country and your intentions for visiting the UK.

Given all the above I am not satisfied that your personal and financial circumstances are as stated by you. I am therefore not satisfied that you intend to leave the UK at the end of your visit and that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor. Your application is refused under paragraph V 4.2 (a) & (c).

The Decision

I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraphs 4.2 (a)(c)(e) of Appendix V: Immigration Rules for Visitors. In considering your application, I have to consider whether you intend to leave the UK at the end of your visit. As part of this, I have to consider the information provided by you about your personal and economic circumstances.

You state you are an air traffic controller at ***** a month. You have provided a letter confirming your employment as well as a salary breakdown, however these alone are not confirmation of income and the documents you have submitted do not demonstrate employment or your stated income. In view of the foregoing I am not satisfied that your circumstances are as stated.

As confirmation of funds available to you, you have submitted a letter from ***** confirming an account balance of $3000. While I have noted the funds shown in the account, without confirmation of income I am unclear of the origin of these funds and I am therefore not satisfied that these bank statements provide an accurate reflection of your financial circumstances. Without confirmation to show the source, I am not satisfied that this money is available for your exclusive use.

Given the above I am not satisfied that you are a genuine visitor and will leave the UK at the end of your visit or that you have sufficient funds available to cover your costs whilst in the UK without working or accessing public funds. You application for a visit visa has therefore been refused under paragraph V4.2(a)(c)(e).

The Decision

I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 to V4.6 and V14.2 of Appendix V because:

You state you on your visa application forum that you intend to transit through the UK. You state that you intend to go through UK border control and leave the UK within 48 hours.

You state you are employed as a project Assistant / Translator at *****, earning a monthly salary of 289000 KZT (£440.455 on www.oanda.com at exchange rate £1=656.14 KZT). However the information provided does not demonstrate that you are employed in this position or that you are a recipient of your stated income, given that you intend to move to Bermuda to start a new job, it is unclear from the information provided what is your current employment status.

You state you intend to transit to Bermuda through the UK, in order to start working in Bermuda, and in support of your application, you have submitted an employment offer from *****, therefore I am satisfied that you have received this employment offer. However I note that this appears to be an offer subject to a number of conditions that appear to have not been fulfilled yet. Further information provided does not demonstrate that you have been assured entrance into Bermuda, therefore I am not satisfied that you will be able to transit from the UK to Bermuda. Your application is therefore refused under paragraph V 14.2 (d) of the Immigration Rules.

Given the above, I am not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor and that you intend to leave the UK at the end of your visit. Your application is therefore refused under paragraph V 4.2 (a) & (c).

You state your employer will provide a funding of £1500 for your intended visit. I acknowledge that in the employment offer letter you have provided your employer offer to pay for your relocation however the information provided does not demonstrate the financial circumstances and capabilities of your employer. Given the above, I am not satisfied that they can provide you with support for the intended duration of your stay. Your application is therefore refused under paragraph V 4.3 (c) of the Immigration Rules.

The Decision

I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 of Appendix V because:

You have applied to visit the UK for 9 days for tourism purposes. You state you are employed with a monthly income of 120,000.00 RUB (£1,175.52) and a monthly living cost of 60,000.00 RUB (£587.76). You state you intend to spend £1000 on your visit to the UK. You state no one else will be funding your visit.

In support of your application I have considered all your documents. I note that you have provided a bank certificate dated 23/12/21 showing a balance of 519,957.16 RUB (£5,093.5) however, this documents does demonstrate how these funds were generated or whether you are in receipt of a regular income as claimed by you. I acknowledge the letter from your employer however the information provided does not give a clear overview of your personal or financial circumstances in your home country which undermines the credibility of your application.

In light of all of the above I am not satisfied as to your intentions in wishing to travel to the UK now. I am not satisfied that you genuinely intend a short visit only to the UK and that you will leave the UK at the end of the visit. Your application is therefore refused under Paragraph V4.2 (a), (c) and (e) of Appendix V of the Immigration Rules.

The Decision

I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 of Appendix V because:

You state you intend to travel to the UK for 6 months for the purpose of tourism.

You state you are employed with ***** as a ***** with a monthly income of £2450. You state you intend to spend £2000 whilst you are in the UK. I note all the information you have provided in support of your application. However I am not satisfied that you are employed as you have stated and that you are in receipt of your stated income. Therefore, you have not provided satisfactory information detailing your personal and financial circumstances, which leads me to doubt that your personal circumstances are as stated.

In light of all of the above I am not satisfied as to your intentions in wishing to travel to the UK now. I am not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry for a purpose that is permitted by the visitor routes, not satisfied that you will leave the UK at the end of the visit and that you will be able to maintain and accommodate yourself adequately in the UK or meet the costs of your return or onward journey from the UK. Your application is refused under Appendix V4.2 (a) (c) and (e) of the Immigration Rules.

The Decision

I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 of Appendix V: Immigration Rules for Visitors because:

You applied to visit the UK for 5 months and 2 days to visit friend

You state that you are employed as a Lead procurement specialist at ***** and earn £600.00 per month after tax and have another income of £2,400.00. I acknowledge that you have submitted documents including a letter from your employer to demonstrate your employment and income. You say that you spend £200.00 per month on living expense, leaving you with a net monthly disposable income of £400.00. You say that you are planning to spend £1,600.00 on your proposed visit to the UK and no one else is contributing towards the cost of your visit. I note that your proposed expenditure amounts to almost four months’ disposable income and a significant proportion of your entire savings. It lacks credibility that you would choose to incur this degree of expenditure on a short tourist visit. This leads me to doubt your stated intentions in seeking to visit the UK.

To demonstrate your financial circumstances, you have submitted a bank letter under your name from ***** showing a summary balance 152,313.00 RUB (£1,475.50). However, the origin of this funds is unknown. In the absence of demonstrating the source of funds, I am not satisfied that the balance in your account accurately reflects your current financial position.

In light of all of the above, I am not satisfied that you intend to leave the United Kingdom or that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor. Your application is therefore refused under paragraph V4.2 (a) and (c).

The Decision

I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 to V4.6 of Appendix V: Immigration Rules for Visitors because:

You state you are employed earning 84,383 RUB (£820.97 current exchange rate £1 = 102.784 RUB) a month. You state that you spend 50,000 RUB (£486.45) on the cost of living each month which leaves you with a monthly disposable income of £334.52. You state that you alone are funding your trip and that you have £1,800 in total for your trip. This equates to over 5 times your monthly disposable income. From the documents and information provided, I am not satisfied that the proposed trip is proportionate to your finances and is therefore credible. I consider this rather a large outlay on a tourism trip for only ten days when viewed in light of your salary, which leads me to doubt the credibility of your trip and therefore your intentions for your visit.

Given the above I am not satisfied that you intend to leave the UK at the end of your visit and that you have sufficient funds to cover all reasonable costs in relation to your visit and that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor. Your application is therefore refused under paragraph V4.2 (a) (c) and (e)

The Decision

I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 of Appendix V: Immigration Rules for Visitors because:

You state in your application that you wish to visit your friend in the UK as a tourist for 10 days.

You declare that you are employed and self-employed in Russia with a monthly income of RUB 47,000.00 (£471.42 exchange rate of £1 = 99.5979 RUB, oanda.com 22/12/2020) and a yearly income of RUB 353,757.00 (£3,548.32). In support of this you have provided supporting information relating to your income, including employment letter and registration as an individual entrepreneur dated 30/01/2014. However the information provided does not clearly demonstrate the level income profit you receive from your self-employment.

You state that you intend on spending £1,300.00 on your visit to the UK and have savings of £1,622.26. In support of this you have provided a bank certificate in your name with a closing balance of RUB 164,045.36 (£1,645.44) dated 26/11/2020. However the information provided does not clearly show that the funds on the account are income profit from your self-employment nor in receipt of a salary as stated and that the funds will remain in your account for your visit to the UK.

Therefore, I am not satisfied that you have provided an accurate reflection of your current personal and financial circumstances nor satisfied that your intentions to visit the UK are as stated and that you will leave at the end of your visit.

In light of all the above I am not satisfied that you will leave the UK at the end of your visit; are genuinely seeking entry for a purpose that is permitted by the visitor routes and have sufficient funds to cover all reasonable costs in relation to your visit without working or accessing public funds. Appendix V4.2 (a) (c) and (e).

The Decision

I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 and V4.11 of Appendix V because:

You have applied to accompany your parents who will visit the United Kingdom for six days for the purpose of tourism. In assessing your eligibility for entry to the UK I have considered your personal and financial circumstances as evidenced by your application form and supporting documents.

You are proposing to visit the UK with your parents. Their applications have been refused under paragraphs V4.2 (a), (c) and (e) of the Immigration Rules and this decision has been communicated to them separately. You are a child under the age of eighteen who is dependent on your parents. I am therefore satisfied that your application falls to be refused under paragraph V4.2 (a), (c) and (e) in line with your parents.

In considering your application, I have certain responsibilities regarding child welfare arising from Section 55 of the Borders Citizenship and Immigration Act. I must be satisfied with the travel, reception and care arrangements for you. I am also required to be satisfied that your welfare needs are still being met once you are in the UK. You are under 18 years old and are proposing to visit the UK with your parents. However, their visa applications have been refused. I am therefore not satisfied that the adults with whom you intend to travel will be admitted to the UK. I am therefore not satisfied that adequate arrangements have been made for your travel to, reception and care in the UK and I therefore refuse your application under paragraph V4.11.

The Decision

I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph(s) 4.2 of Appendix V: Immigration Rules for Visitors because:

You have stated that you intend to visit the UK for tourism for 17 days. I understand that you have previously been refused three visas for the UK on 20/08/2014, 25/09/201 and 12/11/2015, and while each application is assessed on its individual merits, it is worth referring to your previous applications whilst considering your current application. I have considered your application with all the documents which you have submitted in its entirety and on a balance of probabilities I am not satisfied that you have demonstrated that you have met the requirements of Appendix V of the Immigration Rules.

You state in your visa application that you are retired and you have provided a pension letter. I am not satisfied that this documents, in isolation, adequately demonstrates your pension as you claim.

You state that your daughter will sponsor your trip to the UK. Whilst you have set out a bank document with funds for your sponsor I note that you have not demonstrated their personal and financial circumstances to substantiate the origin of their funds.

In light of all of the above I am not satisfied as to your intentions in wishing to travel to the UK now. I am not satisfied that you genuinely intend a short visit only to the UK and that you will leave the UK at the end of the visit. Furthermore, I am not satisfied that you will be able to maintain and accommodate yourself adequately in the UK or meet the costs of your return or onward journey from the UK. Additionally, I am not satisfied that your sponsor can and will provide you with support for the intended duration of your stay. Appendix V4.2(a)(c)(e) and V4.3(c).
